There comes a time in every man's life where he either gets into brewing his own beer or smoking meats. Fred Rasel made his choice in 1999 when he started to build smokers and began smoking meat. And it's safe to say we made the right decision!
In 2001, Fred Rasel built what would become his favorite smoker and the one he still uses today. This smoker was dubbed "The Pork Authority." After years of mastering his flavors, his hobby grew into a business. In 2009, The Smoke Wagon began as a small backyard project where they would serve pulled pork, ribs, and chicken from their house and has grown into the best BBQ in Washington, Pennsylvania. The Smoke Wagon is known for its phenomenal catering, with praises sung from every everyone who has ever taken a bite. Now, operating as a catering business and food truck vendor for fairs and special events, we can bring the rich, smokey flavors of The Smoke Wagon to the community who supported us along the way.
